Over time it has been improved as a synthetic resin-bonded fabric construction material to become a mainstay in marine applications alongside industrial applications for its high strength, low weight, and conductivity properties. Combined with 316 marine-grade stainless steel and brass bearings, Bartons high-strength Tuphblox is ultra-durable, free-running, and highly corrosion-resistant.
Ideal for classic yachts up to 50' with sheave sizes between 8-16mm, Tuphblox will provide original aesthetics, superior UV resistance, and maximum service life.
Tufnol blocks are also for use aboard commercial vessels and in general industry where practicality, strength, and durability are key.
