The Koolatron Battery Saver detects when your battery drops to 11 Volts and shuts off the current to all accessories plugged into it. The battery saver prevents further battery drainage and reconnects automatically when you start your vehicle and begin recharging your 12 volt battery. The Koolatron 12 Volt Battery Saver will operate devices up to 5amps.
