Soldering gives a strong, permanent, vibration resistant connection. Strip ends of both wires and insert one wire completely through connector. Fray wire strands of both wires, intermingle and overlap ends. Carefully slide wires back through connecter, centering in middle of fluxed solder ring. Crimp both ends of barrel to hold wires in place while soldering. Slowly apply heat (300°F) until solder melts and inner adhesive wall of sleeve softens, melts filling voids, and outer wall shrinks. Cool for a strong waterproof, vibration and corrosion resistant connection.
